All my life I was never treated as a girl. I was  always treated as one of the guys, or someone who could protect and watch over others. I don't mind. I really don't, but just once, I would kill to be a princess in a castle. Someone for a prince to save, instead of just "Oh, she's got this." If I really "had this", why would I wait? Why would I constantly wish for things to change? From my family to my job, why would I wish for things to be different? And I know I can do what I want. With Valentine's Day quickly approaching, I need to get this out. Except I can't do so by traditional means, like throw a fit or scream and shout. This is not my first V-day alone, but I'm slowly giving up hope. I've finally found out what it means to love someone... And I fear I can never cope. You see, he was my best friend.
